It’s hard to believe I’ve been a professional golfer for nearly three decades. That time has been filled with so many memories – traveling around the world, competing in some of the most sought-after tournaments, and claiming a few trophies along the way.

I am extremely proud of the victories I have achieved – the 2000 SEI Pennsylvania Classic, 2001 Buick Challenge, and 2002 Phoenix Open.  I also gave a heck of a run at some Majors too – competing in a three-way playoff with Vijay Singh and Justin Leonard at the 2004 PGA Championship. And who can forget my playoff with Tiger Woods at the 2005 Masters, and then again at the 2006 Open Championship. The 2006 Open Championship was a special time, as Tiger and I were both playing with very heavy hearts, due to the passing of my  mom and Tiger loosing his dad that year too.

Majors are always fun, but there is nothing like being a part of the Ryder Cup and President Cup teams. I competed on the Ryder Cup team in 2004 and 2006, and played on the Presidents Cup Team in 2003 and 2005. In 2005, I was given the great honor of being named the MVP of the Presidents Cup Team for my 15-foot putt for birdie on the 18th hole of the final round.

While I’ve had some great moments on the PGA TOUR, I am looking forward to the new adventures ahead on the PGA Tour Champions. I am privileged to compete against such talented and hard-working men who have earned a spot on this tour with victories of their own. Until my debut in August 2018, I will continue to train, practice, and mentally prepare for competition once again.
